1. The principle of treatment

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high intensity pulses of visible light for hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

The system emits a broad spectrum of intense pulsed light through a small, smooth handpiece. The combination of light and short time heat transmission stimulates the skin (collagen and elastin stimulation) and treats some skin disorders (coagulation of oxy-hemoglobin or melanin). A natural production of collagen and a correct layer organization is induced by the treatment. Each skin type can have a different reaction to the flash. The light penetrates the tissue, then damages and absorbs the melanin when treating telangiectasia, pigmentation, and hair removal. The body’s natural processes then remove the injured tissue giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance. And at the same time, production of the collagen in dermis will be prompted to increase the flexibility of the skin and get rid of fine wrinkles.
